Well my all time favourite dog is the Maltese. My Maltese is lovable and gentle. But out of those five, I would love a Golden Retriever. My neighbors Retriever, Zack, was fun and bouncy and very energetic. He used to jump the fence to come and play with us as kids. They might seem big and energetic, but they are really fun to play with. They are the most popular dog in Japan.

Out of what you have listed, I would pick the golden I personally own a border collie and a pug (I know, a strange combination) so I love all dogs but I've always wanted a golden retriever for some reason!

Boxer's are great guard dogs while being fun-loving family pets. You must expose them to many other dogs and childeren while they are young. They also need a lot of exercise and attention.

Depends on what kind of dog you want… like what qualities are you looking for and what kind of a place you live in.. because if you live in an apartment.. for the dogs sake your best bet is the chihuahua.. if you have a normal size home and a back yard.. get the weimaraner or golden or boxer. I personally have a boxer… because I like their personalities.
