Do you let your weimaraner sleep in the bed with you?

We have a one year old weim, she is crate trained, but when she’s not in her crate and we let her on the bed its a constant battle to keep her at the foot of the bed, she wants to lay (curl up) at the top where our heads are…is this normal?

YES! my male weim sleeps with me. I don’t mind it (king size bed) he also wants to be covered up!

Give her a couple of small treats in her own bed, or if she’s REALLY tired already, put her there and sit next to her until she falls asleep. She cries to get into your bed because she knows that you will let her up if she does!! I let my pup sleep in my bed ONCE when he was 9 weeks, he cried for 3 days after, and I will never do it again! At least not until he’s a bit older lol.

I dont let any of our pets sleep in our bed…. they have their own bed on the floor!!!
All animals need to know who is master and who is the pet… and that we do not treat them as equals or humanize them! Many people do and thus causing many problems down the road!
